Learning Den

Located in Menifee, Ca.

Critters & Crayons Learning Den is available to families with early childhood children ages 3 to 6-years-old. Our environment is created to encourage a love for learning for children preschool age (3) to kindergarten age (6). We offers 3 dens,  "The Fox Den" for the preschooler (3 year old),  "The Raccoon Den" for the Pre-K child (4-to-5 year old), "The Bear Den" for the Kindergarten child (5-to-6 year old). 

 

Each Den uses curriculum that is faith-neutral curriculum and all curriculum used meets or exceed California state standards, but does not include critical race theory, gender/sex education, or any other scientific beliefs. We believe that the child is a person, and we must educate the whole person, not just his or her mind. We believe that education is three-pronged: Education is an Atmosphere, (child’s surroundings) a Discipline, (child’s discipline of good habits) and a Life (applies to academics). This is an integral part of our daily lessons for all dens, along with our proven methods for teaching the alphabet, phonics, numbers, handwriting, shapes & colors thru Handwriting without Tears, Zoo-Phonics, Explode the Code, Dash Into Learning, and All About Learning Press. These methods have shown to grow with the child in each den, 3-years-old to 6-years-old.

We are not a child care facility and do not offer before or afterschool care.

We are an enrichment program where our environments inspires the child's curiosity to learn. Children participate in planned activities, daily schedules & routines.​

All dens at Critters & Crayons are taught by Ms. Carie who holds a degree in early childhood development and her assistant, Ms. Abigail. We encourage all students to love learning through fun lessons and hands on activities in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Social Studies & Science.

Critters & Crayons Learning Den supports parents choice for education. Our goal as a whole, is to provide a fun quality educational experience for all children.
